We will offer the following colour coded courses on each day:

|---|---|---|---|
| White | Easy. Technical Difficulty 1. White courses are very easy with all controls on paths. They may have tapes routes to guide competitors if there is no path. | Approx. 2km | 6-10 year olds and family groups. |
| Yellow | Easy. Technical Difficulty 2 . Yellow courses use simple line features such as paths, walls and streams. | Approx. 2.5km | Under 12s and families. |
| Orange | Slightly harder. Technical Difficulty 3. Orange courses progress to basic use of the compass and route choice. | Approx. 3k | Ideal for novice orienteers. |
| Light Green | More technical. Technical Difficulty 4. Light Green courses require more navigational technique using simple contour features and point features for navigation and controls. | Approx. 3k | For people more confident in their navigational skills. |
| Red | Technical Difficulty 3 Technically similar to orange courses, but longer. | Approx. 5k | Ideal for a fit runner who is still developing navigation skills. |
