Yes - see the Entries page for full details. Enter by January 31 2009 for the cheapest rates!
How do I work out which age class I’m eligible to enter?
Consult the table on the Course Details page, which allows you to work out which age class(es) you are eligible to run based on your year of birth.
Is there a rest day?
Yes, on Wednesday 5th August - there will be no competition, although other orienteering related activities are planned to be available.
What are the dates of each competition Day?

Yes. A bus service will be available for competitors who do not wish to make their own travel arrangements. However, pre-booking will be required. For more details, see the Bus Travel page.
Are dogs allowed at each race day and at the Event Centre?
Dogs will be allowed, on a lead, at the Event Centre, and in the car park and assembly area only on Days 1 to 6.
We are extremely grateful to landowners for allowing dogs on their land, but must emphasise that their livestock is their livelihood, so dogs must be kept on leads at all times. Any fouling must be meticulously cleared up and taken away.

There will be hard standing for campervans.  Caravans will either be on hard standing or on grass immediately adjacent to a metalled roadway. There will be no individual electric or water/drainage points.

For campers we will be using the Race Course toilets and washing facilities.  The race course has some showers and these will be supplemented by hot showers in portacabins.  There will be additional sinks installed for washing and dishwashing.

There will be a café/restaurant open each evening, and if there is demand, a fish and chip bar.  Again if there is demand the café will open in the morning to serve breakfasts.
What facilities does campsite have for car parking?
All car parking will be on hard standing, with a maximum of 400m walk to the farthest part of the camping area.
What facilities does the event centre have?
The café/restaurant will be open each evening for meals.  If there is demand the fish and chip bar will also open each evening.  Again if demand the café will open each morning for breakfasts. The Famous Grouse Bar will be open in the Betting Hall on the ground floor of the Nelson stand.  This will also be the event information centre.  We plan to have laptops for competitors to use for entering course routes onto RouteGadget. There will be non-competitive (i.e. not timed) String and Off-string courses (see below) provided each day for young children, using special maps.  The courses will be available between 1000 hrs and 1500 hrs.  There will be no charge.  Certificates will be awarded and should be kept to be filled in on finishing each day.
What are string and off string courses?
