Event Centre
The event centre has been chosen as Perth Racecourse, situated in a beautiful location immediately north of Perth, on the east bank of the River Tay.

Getting to and from the Event Centre
From Perth, head north on the A93 (signposted Blairgowrie and Braemar) for about 3km/2 miles. Pass the entrance to Scone Palace on your left, and at Old Scone turn left for Stormontfield and the Racecourse, which is around 1km along this road.
While it's possible to walk into Perth from the racecourse, along the A93, a number of bus services to and from Perth City Centre stop at Old Scone. For more details of buses from Old Scone to Perth, see the online Stagecoach Bus timetables.
From the event centre, approximate distances to each event location are:
- Day 1: 37km/23 miles
- Day 2: 5km/3 miles
- Day 3: 80km/50 miles
- Day 4: 45km/28 miles
- Day 5: 56km/35 miles
- Day 6: 35km/22 miles
Camping
Camping will be available in the racecourse grounds surrounding the main racecourse building. More details, including how to book and costs, will be provided as soon as they are finalised.
Facilities
It is expected that facilities offered by the racecourse will include showers, a bar and hot food. More details of facilities will be made available as they are confirmed.

The village of New Scone (usually shortened to Scone), 2.5km/1.5 mile to the east, also has a selection of shops, hotels, pubs and takeaway restaurants. Perth itself has an excellent range of shops, including all the usual High Street names, and has a particularly good selection of restaurants.
NB: The placename Scone is always pronounced 'skoon', not 'skawn' or 'skohn'!
Scone Palace
Immediately next door to the Racecourse is Scone Palace, one of Scotland's most famous historic homes, and once upon a time the place where Kings of Scotland were crowned. The Palace and grounds are open to the public, and an easy walk from the Racecourse.
