Running in conjunction with WOC, Highland2015 will be a hugely exciting event, with some 5000 runners expected. Scottish orienteering's long experience in running the 6 Days as a consistently top quality event will ensure that Highland, the 20th 6 Day event, will meet everyone's high expectations. With shared arenas with WOC on some days, we will be looking to maximise opportunities for spectating and seeing the world's best in action, whilst also giving 6 Day runners the chance to compete on World Championship terrain.
World Class Terrain
The terrain provided is physically and technically demanding, and will be rewarding to compete in. All this is set against the fantastic natural backdrop of the Highlands of Scotland.
The forests offer a range of challenges from rugged hilly ancient Caledonian Forest, with semi open terrain, contour and rock detail, to the flatter complex moraine terrain of the Moray coast.
