Sun 28th July to Sat 3rd August
The 22nd Scottish 6-day event is being held in Strathearn, between the 28th July and 3rd August 2019. Two World Ranking Events will be staged during Strathearn 2019. The Strathearn area of Perthshire runs along the Highland Boundary Fault and bridges the glens, lochs and mountains of the Highlands with the rich farmland and towns of the Lowlands to the south. This was originally one of Scotland's ancient Celtic Earldoms, home to the Earl of Strathearn, a title which expired in the middle of last century only to be recently revived when the Queen bestowed the titles of Earl and Countess of Strathearn on Prince William and Kate Middleton.
For insurance purposes, all String course participants must be registered. While it is possible to register children at the event, we would prefer if you would register your child in advance.
Comrie Croft are offering special campsite facilities for the event and will be looking after all aspects of the event campsite. There will be a bus service running from the campsite to the events each day. On the Wednesday the bus will run to Crieff for the Sprint and to Drummond Castle for the Trail O
Event entries to all Six Days, the Wednesday (“rest day”) Sprint and Trail O are now available online at Fabian4 until 30th June. Subject to map availability, late entries will be open from 1st July to 12th July. Entries will then close to allow pre-processing of the event computer files, and re-open at the Event Centre on Saturday 27th July.
The access agreement for Day 4 on Thursday 1st August 2019 is such that there must be absolutely NO DOGS even in cars at this Race.
Dogs are welcome on all other days in the event car parks in cars and on a lead. These are generally close to the assembly areas, except on Day 1, when it is not, then competitors can bring their dogs to assembly.
This is a list of the key roles for 2019; there are many other volunteers. For details of day officials, see the entry for each competition day.
