Dogs at the Event
People considering bringing their dogs to Royal Deeside 2017 should note that at the race venues dogs will only be allowed in the car park area and the event arena, and they must be on a lead at all times.
A small dog area will be marked out in the car park field for each day, to provide an area for dogs to exercise and poo. Owners will need to clean up after their dogs.
Dogs will not be allowed on the route to starts or in the competition areas.
The Scottish Outdoor Access Code does not allow us to have open access for dogs due to the fact we have access agreements with land owners and managers. The scale of the event means they are within their rights to restrict dogs in their land to avoid issues with game birds, sheep, wildlife etc.
Dogs will be allowed on the event campsite.
